Anxiety/stress/depression:
Do you dread the 5:00 am clang of your alarm? Do you hit snooze one too many times and now have to scramble to get to work on time, chugging caffeine, just trying to make it through the day? You spend the evenings checked out, on the couch, mindlessly scrolling your phone, while the tv drones on in the background.
You know there is more to life than this. You know there is a way to get good sleep, not survive on caffeine, and actually enjoy your evenings. Sometimes we just need a little support to get there. It’s okay to need a little help figuring out what is underneath the stress and get back to living a life you don’t want to escape.
Bariatric counseling:
Are you struggling with your weight? Have you tried an endless number of diets without success? You’re ready to have energy, do the things you want to do, and feel good about yourself. You’re considering weight loss surgery. You need a bariatric pre-operative psychological evaluation and have had a hard time obtaining one.
Weight loss surgery is a hard decision. Together we can work to make sure you’re emotionally ready for weight-loss surgery, improve your relationship with food and yourself, and have supports in place to assist with adjusting to life after surgery.
